Been married for nearly 20 years.
Grew up in a small community in north central Louisiana.
Peonies are my fave.
The Indian Ocean is my happy place.
Lived and worked in the US, Zanzibar, Malawi, South Africa, and will add Cameroon to the list soon.
Speak a little Swahili, even less Chichewa, and trying to learn French.
Swahili Coastal food is what I crave the most. Bring on the coconut curry!
Oldest of 3 kids which means, yes, I am a little bossy from time to time!
Antiquing and thrifting brings me joy.
Get ridiculously excited when I get to host people in our home.
